During my time with the Kohl’s Tek Gear men’s design team, I supported the full apparel development process from early concept research through production preparation. I worked on tech flats, fittings, filling BOMs, presentations, an 8 week white space project, while also collaborating closely with design, technical, trend and product teams. I was also part of a group helping integrate AI and 3D visualization into the design workflow, using these tools to turn flat sketches and renders into realistic product imagery. This experience strengthened my understanding of designing for a defined customer, working within real production timelines, and communicating ideas clearly across teams.
